The Warp v.2 uses the JMicron controller. JMicron has never issued firmware updates to users for this controller. It may not even be possible.

I wouldn't go getting all huffy about it.

OCZ is guilty of the same thing. They used the exact same controllers in many of their first and second generation SSDs. It's not so much the fault of the SSD manufacturers as it is JMicron.

Personally, I don't know how long you've had your SSD, but the "badzeros" are kind of irrelevant. By the time the drive's perform degrenerates to unacceptable, you'll want to take advantage of the current and future breakthroughs in the SSD market, namely the larger capacity, the faster speeds, and the lower prices.
