Im in the process of assembling a new rig and am having major issues with the system not booting up. Im running the GA-EX58-UD4P board with an I7 940 Processor and am using the 4GB PVS34G2000LLKN Kit... Does this memory work with my board and could it be the reason why my systems not booting ?
Thanks !

Hi,
If you can return the ram for a PVT line that would be the way to go.
The kit you have purchased are tested on Dual Channel DDR3 (Nvidia chip based) boards with Different boards higher voltage. That is the reason it is not reaching the advertised 2000MHz. Does it not post at all from cold-boot or after you applied the timings? If it boots you might have to relax the latencies to something like 8-8-8 or 9-9-9 1600 at 1.65v.
I would recommend trying to see if you can match the specs with the screenshots of our PVT lines to see if that will work and OC incrimently from there.

Good Luck...
