So I have a 16gig Xporter flash drive.
Sucker worked perfect, displayed as a Patriot drive whenever I plugged it in...no problems.
Now I plug it in and all it says is "Removable Disk" and if I click to open it "Please Insert a disk into removable disk"
I've already emailed Patriot Support regarding the problem and to ask if the low level format tool would work...I was basically told "no"...and after a couple email exchanges was pretty much told "I can't help you, go download some testing tools from download.com"....well I did that, and none of them have worked to help and they don't even recognize the drive.
So good forum people with Alejandro of the Support staff from Patriot being pretty much worthless....I turn to you for help.

Let me find out what is going on. Can you please give the full part number? We have (3) Xporter 16GB lines. I'll try to get to the bottom of this and see what I can do.
Thank You for your patience.

Sorry for the inconvenience you had in any aspect of Patriot Support. The rep you spoke with prior might have misunderstood your flash drive symptons and might have been following protocols. We're not allowed to give out the Low Level Format Tool if the USB Drive is simply dead. It will only alleviate any problems if the usb drive is still atleast acknowledged.
When some customers ask why not just post the tool for download, the answer is it might become a liability. That's why in some cases we ask what particular drive a customer has, to see if they can get a replacement under warranty instead.
Nonetheless, we take pride in our commitment to customer service. I'm glad we can get to the bottom of things and resolve your issues. :)
